Midlands Region BMX held their Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 27th January; the minutes of which can be found by clicking HERE. Couple of interesting points to note are the fact that the Redditch track build is scheduled to be completed by the 6th April. There will also be four more Midlands tracks appearing, later in the year: Stockingford,(Nuneaton), Birmingham, Tamworth and Wolverhampton; more time riding instead of driving!!!

Redditch 2010 Summer Regional - Date Ammendment!
Posted today on BMX Talk:
"After some consideration, and looking at the summer race calendar, we have decided to change the date of the Midland Summer Regional at Redditch. The original date was the 25th July 2010. We have now changed the date to the 11th July 2010."
Cheers Benn.

Redditch Premiers Sunday Session
The club enjoyed an energetic morning at Bishops Tachbrook yesteday morning...it's a great way to get over a hangover, (wouldn't you agree Benn? ;-) and learn some new skills. Everyone is so encouraging, some people were improving visibly by the hour! Most of us are heading up to Bullwell, Nottingham for a winter club race, next weekend, feel free to come and join us...
Redditch Premiers in this photo: Gregory Dunn, Lee Hathaway, Stewart Rockliffe, James Day, Harley Taylor, Chris Day, Matt Mayneord, Benn Thombs, Darcie Taylor, Sean Bowditch & Tim Print. (Photo taken by Chris Taylor.)
The track construction is progressing as planned:-) The perimeter fence has been constructed and, we guess, the track construction, (ie the lumps and bumps) will begin in earnest. Here's a couple of photos, showing the fence and how much area will be taken up with the track.
